Work continues in downtown Fergus
Work continues on projects to improve downtown Fergus.
Site cleanup work continues in the parking lot behind the Fergus branch of the Wellington County Library.Work is expected to continue through to Aug. 16.
There will be no street closures or interruption to through traffic during the construction period and access and deliveries will be maintained to the greatest extent possible to the municipal parking lot and businesses behind the main street buildings.

Meanwhile, Tower Street remains closed from St. Andrew Street to Union Street for the replacement of the Tower Street bridge.
Construction is anticipated to continue into October.
