Local writers and storytellers will share their craft on April 27 at this spring’s Wordfest.

Doors open at 7pm at the Elora Centre for the Arts at 75 Melville Street in Elora.

The readings and stories start at 7:30pm.

“Come and share in the fun and meet the writers who bring their talents to the evening that is dedicated to the power of the word,” organizers urge.

The evening is hosted by Donna McCaw and Peter Scott and has been a bi-annual celebration of the talent in this area.

Published and unpublished authors share their poetry, short stories and snippets of novels over the course of the evening.

Sign up for readers happens that evening.

Admission is $6 for a series of readings and tellings that are full of laughter, truths, and surprises, organizers say.
