WOOD, Roy. Passed away peacefully at Chartwell Long Term Care in Elmira on January 30th 2015 at age 89. Beloved husband of Violet Wood for 65 years. He will be sadly missed by his daughters Donna (Terry) Rhodes, Judy Kennedy and Marjorie Wood. Grand-daughters Jennifer (Tim) Metzger and Sara Kennedy. Great Grand-son Alex and Ben Metzger. Roy was a long time employee for 41 years at GSW. Brother of Frank Wood. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Amelia Wood, sister Ruby Langley, son-in-law John Kennedy. The family would like to thank the staff for the wonderful care provided by Chartwell Elmira. A graveside service will be held for Roy at the Elora Cemetery on Saturday, May 2nd at 11:00 am.
