‘Wizard of Oz’ panto supports two local organizations

To Oz – The age old story of the Wizard of Oz came to light in a panto performance by On The Spot Productions under the direction of David Tanner and Leigha Bailey on Nov. 29 at the Fergus Grand Theatre. Proceeds from the performance went to Hopewell Children’s Home and the Groves Memorial Community Hospital. Performing in the Wizard of Oz were, from left, Paul Deacon as the wicked witch, Isaac Stacey as the scarecrow, Liam Cardinell as the lion, Noella Mallany as toto the dog, Avery Ballaban as Dorothy, Emily Janisse as prince charming, and in front Brianne Donovan as the tin person.
