WINTERS, Richard George. Passed away peacefully at his home in Grand Valley on Thursday, March 16th, 2017 in his 65th year.  Predeceased by his parents Gordon (1993) and Lola (2006) and his brother Brian (1947). Rick is survived by brother Kerry (Helen) and sister Wendy (Henk Hoogendoorn) all of Grand Valley. He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews and many close friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 24th, 2017, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., at Simes Funeral Home, 48 Main St. S., Grand Valley, ON. Friends will also be received at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 25th, 2017 until the Celebration of Life service at 11a.m. at Simes Funeral Home. As per Rick’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a private inurnment at Union Cemetery, Grand Valley, in the spring. Donations can be made to Knox Presbyterian Church, Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides or a charity of your choice.
