Winter storm clean up continues in Centre Wellington

The Township of Centre Wellington continues its recovery efforts from the Winter Storm, including tree limb and brush removal.

Hydro Updates

Centre Wellington Hydro reports that all its service area has power restored. Hydro One reports that all of its service area has power restored, with the exception of approximately 20 affected customers in the Lake Belwood cottage area. For up to date information, please contact Hydro One.

Road Closures

All roads in Centre Wellington have now been re-opened. Please exercise caution while driving as fallen tree limbs and brush may still be on the shoulders and in ditches.

Tree/Brush Clean-up

If your property has fallen tree limbs and brush you wish to dispose of, please place the material on your curb for removal by Township staff over the next few weeks.

Alternatively, residents can take brush to the County Waste Facility site located in Belwood at 8585 Wellington Road 19. The facility is open 8:00am – 4:00pm on Wednesday, Friday & Saturday.
