Winchester, Avril Janice; Quietly, after a short illness, at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus, on Saturday, May 19, 2012. Avril was in her 77th year, and she was the beloved wife of Gavin. She was the dear mother of Dan (Melanie) and Kerry (Leslie). Avril is fondly remembered by four grandchildren: Jesse, Tori, Allison and Nicholas. She was involved with the Elora Community Theatre and she was a founding member of the Eramosa Community Players. She will be sadly missed by family and friends. Now Avril truly sits on God’s shoulder. Friends are invited to meet with the family for a Celebration of Life for Avril at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Rockwood Chapel, 117 Guelph St., Rockwood, on Sunday, May 27, 2012 from 1-5pm. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
