Wilson, James Andrew - Passed away peacefully at Caressant Care Nursing Home in Fergus on Saturday, January 12, 2013 in his 84th year. Jim was born on March 24, 1929 in Banffshire, Scotland and immigrated to Canada in July 1930. On April 19, 1952 he married Mildred Mitchell and together they raised four children, Brian (Cathy), Dan (Karen), Don (Liz) and Janet (Mike). Jim was a proud grandfather of six, Sarah (Brad), David (Kate), Cameron, Quinn, Matthew and Scott. He is survived by his sister Joan (Alan) Kirk and his brother George (Yvonne) Wilson. Predeceased by his parents James Andrew and Janet (nee: Barclay) Wilson and two brothers Dan and Bill Wilson. Friends were received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, on Tuesday, January 15th, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00-9:00 pm. A Funeral Service was conducted on Wednesday, January 16th, 2013 at 1:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place at a later date.
