Williams, Albert; Guelph, on Friday, March 9, 2012 in his 82nd year. Albert (Al) Williams was the beloved husband of Gwen (Stelling) Williams of Guelph. He was the loving father of Margaret (Marc Hamann). He was the dear brother of Velma MacQueen, Jean Logel (Lloyd), and Roy (Adeline) and brother-in-law of Keith Stelling (Jeanne). A fiddler and violin maker, he was a founding member and former president of the Hamilton-Wentworth Old Tyme Fiddlers and also a member of the St. Catharines and Bolton fiddlers associations. He retired from Dofasco (Cranes) in 1990. The family extends its sincere thanks to the staff of the Village of Riverside Glen Long Term Care and Caressant Care Arthur, friends, and neighbours in the Village by the Arboretum for their care and support. A Memorial Service will be held at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 11am.  As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Suzuki String School of Guelph, 75 Cardigan Street, Guelph, ON, N1H 3Z7, would be appreciated by the family.
