Wightman, Ruth; Peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Center on Monday, July 27, 2009 in her 74th year. Beloved wife of Leonard Wightman. Loving mother of David, Duane (Denise), Dale (Sarah Jane), Joy (Tony) Disanto & Karen. Grandmother of  Ryen, Lindsay, Murray, Michaela, Julene, Luke & Jacob. Daughter of the late Herbert & Permilda Miller. Dear sister of Delores (Laverne) Reuber & Carol (James) Hertzberger. Rested at Edmison Heights Bible Chapel, 939 Hilliard Street, Peterborough from 3-5pm & 6-8pm on Friday, July 31. Service was held on Saturday, August 1 at 10am with Mr. Don Salmans officiating. In memory of Ruth, donations may be made (by cheque only) to the Parkinson Society Canada, Edmison Heights Bible Chapel or The Gideons and would be appreciated by the family. A brief Graveside Memorial Service  took place at the Clifford Cemetery (Hwy #9 between Clifford & Mildmay) on Tuesday, August 4 at 2pm.
