Wichita Lineman tribute to Glen Campbell

The 2014 season at the St. Jacobs Country Playhouse continues with Wichita Lineman, a rousing musical tribute featuring the soundtrack of The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour, on stage from July 16 to Aug. 2.

In 1969, The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour had become the most successful television show in music history. This summer the St. Jacobs Country Playhouse takes a trip down memory lane with a musical revue featuring Campbell’s classic tunes including Rhinestone Cowboy, Gentle on My Mind, By the Time I Get to Phoenix, Galveston, the famous title song, and many more.

Taking the stage as the man of the hour is Aaron Solomon.

As a singer, actor and multi-instrumentalist, Solomon has performed with numerous well-known artists including Shania Twain, Jeff Healey, Big Sugar, Mac Wiseman, John Allan Cameron and George Hamilton IV.

Joining Solomon on stage is the woman who conceived and created Wichita Lineman, Leisa Way. A native of Sudbury, Way has been a musician since very young, performing in over 50 countries.
