WHY tourney a success
ERIN – The first Women’s Hockey for Youth tournament on March 7 and 8 raised $10,104.89, and there are plans to do it all over again next year.
A last minute donation of $5,000 from Erin residents and hockey supporters John and Lynne Halligan helped push the fundraiser over the finish line.
A cheque presentation to the Main Place Youth Centre is planned for April but that may change due to coronavirus restrictions and developments.
