WHITMORE, Anne - Passed away peacefully on May 21, 2017 at the age of 75 with family by her side. Beloved wife of Paul for 48 years. Loving mother of Kim (Andrew) Matheson and Terri (Chris) Sambol. Adored Nanny of Tyson, Tegan, Tayla, and Tanner Matheson and Blake and Ashley Sambol. Anne will be missed by her sister Doreen Deas, sisters-in-law June Farmer and Cynthia (Jim) Mallard. She will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Clifford Farmer and sister Iris Tudor. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 3rd, 2017 at 3:00pm at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St. South, Fergus. Following the service, a visitation will be held in the Wellington Room, upstairs in the funeral home until 5:00pm. The family would like to thank the staff at Groves Memorial Community Hospital, Grand River Hospital and a special thank you to Heather Martin from CCAC for their care and compassion of Anne.
