Whitestone, Phyllis Wentworth Wood
Whitestone, Phyllis Wentworth Wood passed away February 13, 2013 at Groves Memorial Community Hospital. Phyllis lived a joyous 87 years. She leaves behind Bruce Whitestone, her beloved husband of 55 years. Theirs was a full and loving relationship. They raised a family of four children: Brian (Lynn), Jim (Kerry), Pam (Ed) and Hugh (Sheri). In addition, she got to enjoy 11 grandchildren, all with boundless energy and a passion for learning and adventure. Phyllis was an unfailing servant of our Lord, always giving of her time and energy to those in need, with an incredible degree of patience and love. Her legacy of love lives in our hearts. We are most grateful to the medical and nursing staff at Groves Memorial Community Hospital for their attentive and compassionate care. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 11am at the Church of St. John the Evangelist, Elora, Ontario.
