White, Ed; The family of Ed White sadly announces his peaceful passing at Hospice Wellington, Guelph, on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012 in his 72nd year. Edward Leroy White, loving husband of Doreen Bilton for 51 years. Dear “Daddy” to Janeen and Brad Swackhammer, and loving “Papa Dodge” to Connor and Nathan, all of Acton. Brother of Harvey and Kathy White, of Brantford, and brother-in-law to Rendall and Myrna Bilton, of Belwood. Son of the late Alvin and Myrtle White. Also missed by many nieces and one nephew. Ed will be remembered for trucking, farming, and especially coaching baseball. Friends will be received at Blue Springs Funeral Home, Acton, Thursday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be at the funeral home chapel on Friday, January 6th, 2012, at 1pm. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Acton. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Hospice Wellington or Cancer Assistance Services Halton Hills.
