WHALE, Wesley Franklin of R.R.#1 Elora, passed away at the Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus on Friday July 21, 2017 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Joyce (Leybourne) Whale for 58 years. Dear father of Patricia and her husband Dave Hunter of Alma, Brenda Whale of Fergus and Steve MacKay, Steve Whale and his wife Jane of Mildmay and Larry Whale of Teviotdale. Loving grandfather of Lee Ann, Andrew, Cory and Katy Hunter; Matt, Dan, Kathleen and twins Cameron and Curtis Whale. Brother of Jack and Ann Whale of Arthur, George and Marion Whale of Goldstone, Annie Mae and Bob Rahn of Hanover and Sharon and Howard Carey of Elora. Brother-in-law of Jim and Shirley Leybourne, Gail and Ron Bessey and Judy Leybourne. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by one sister Janet Winfield (2017), and two brothers-in-law Lorne Winfield and Clifford Leybourne. To honour Wes’s wishes Cremation has taken place. A private family Memorial Service was held at Heritage Funeral home Drayton. As expressions of sympathy donations to Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus would be appreciated by the family.
