West Luther 4-H Field Crops Club
The West Luther 4-H Field Crops Club met on July 22 at Mapleton’s Organic and learned about organic farming.
Martin and Arwa deGroot presented and explained the history, challenges, and purposes of Mapleton’s organic. After the tour and presentation, members and leaders enjoyed on site processed organic ice cream.
Vice President Laura Austin thanked the deGroots for their time and the use of their facility. The meeting was adjourned. The club will meet next at Energro in Millbank on August 5.
