West Luther 4-H club report
The latest meeting of the West Luther 4-H Club was held July 22 at Henria Holsteins here.
Two people who came from Jones Feed Mill to talk about nutrients. Chris Meadows talked about beef rations and other different feeds. Muscles of cows are proteins. Meadows asked where calves get protein from forage such as hay. We looked at feed reports and talked about them.
The next meeting will be at Ron Brubacher’s on Aug. 16.
Members went over the minutes from the last meeting then got into statistics display groups. They closed the meeting with the 4-H motto and thanked the Pastink family for having us.
