Wellington Relay for Life at Guelph Lake on June 14

GUELPH - The Canadian Cancer Society invites people to participate in the Wellington County Relay For Life, to be held June 14, 6 to 11pm at Guelph Lake Conservation Area, 7743 Conservation Road, Guelph.

By taking part in Relay For Life as a survivor, donor, volunteer and/or fundraising team, participants can show people affected by cancer in the community that they’re not alone.

Money raised will help fund research as well as essential support services for local people living with cancer and their families.

Last year, more than 12,000 cancer survivors across Canada joined Relay For Life and took part in the Survivor’s Victory Lap.

This provides an opportunity for survivors to thank those who helped them through their cancer journey, to give hope to those currently in treatment and to be part of a caring community of people who have all been touched by cancer.
