Man, 63, pronounced dead following Violet Hill collision on Tuesday
VIOLET HILL – A Wellington North man has died following a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday afternoon.
Dufferin OPP officials say emergency crews responded to a collision involving a motorcycle and passenger vehicle at the intersection of Highway 89 and 3rd Line in Violet Hill, east of Shelburne, on Aug. 4 at about 2:32pm.
"Tragically, the motorcyclist, a 63-year-old male from Wellington North, was pronounced deceased," police stated in a press release.
The driver and passenger in the other vehicle were taken to a hospital with minor injuries, they added.
