ARTHUR – Wellington North officials are inviting residents, local businesses and stakeholders to join Mayor Andy Lennox for breakfast on April 10 in Arthur.
The 2025 Mayor’s Breakfast will be an opportunity for Mayor Lennox and township staff to provide updates on several projects and activities, including the 2024 Strategic Plan, the recently adopted Growth Management Action Plan, the 2025 budget and infrastructure projects.
“Over the past year, the Township of Wellington North has been actively addressing concerns related to growth, information sharing, engagement, and the infrastructure deficit,” Lennox stated in a press release.
“We will continue to tackle these critical issues, with numerous activities planned for 2025.
“I look forward to engaging with residents, businesses and stakeholders on April 10 to discuss our plans,” he said.
The 2025 Mayor’s Breakfast will take place from 7:15 to 9am at the Arthur and Area Community Centre (Lower Hall).
Tickets to the event are $10 and can be purchased online at wellingtonnorthmayorsbreakfast.eventbrite.com.
Tickets will be available until April 8.
The 2025 Mayor’s Breakfast was developed to share some of the activities that have taken place in the last year, as well as to increase the level of accountability and transparency with the public, township officials say.
“This event is one way the township can demonstrate its commitment to providing a high level of service to the community while adding value and using resources responsibly,” officials state.
This event is made possible with the support of the county and township, they added.
