Wellington Heights Wolverines girls basketball teams make District 4 playoffs
Basketball action – The Wellington Heights Wolverines Junior and Senior girls basketball teams travelled to Centre Dufferin on Dec. 13 for the District 4 playoffs. The junior team made it to the finals, but unfortunately came up short to Emmanuel Christian High School from Fergus, losing by a score of 22-11. However, they came away with a District 4 silver medal finish, which capped a unique season during the COVID-19 pandemic. Submitted photos

Basketball action – The Wellington Heights Wolverines Junior and Senior girls basketball teams travelled to Centre Dufferin on Dec. 13 for the District 4 playoffs.

The senior team lost to the first place Centre Dufferin Royals from Shelburne in the semi-finals and then faced off against the Erin District High School Raiders in the consolation finals. The Wolverines came away with a strong 28-20 victory against the Raiders, and claimed the District 4 bronze medal.
