Wellington County provides bursaries to 10 local students
WELLINGTON COUNTY – Ten local students will be receiving educational scholarships and bursaries from the County of Wellington based on academic achievement, community involvement, or financial need.
At the Sept. 28 county council meeting, council awarded $1,000 bursaries and scholarships to use toward their post-secondary school expenses to:
- Emily Gerrard, Puslinch;
- Alana Deschamps, Mapleton;
- Anna Koechl, Centre Wellington;
- Lily van Huisseling, Centre Wellington;
- Amy Denton, Centre Wellington;
- Cameron Lytle, Wellington North;
- Ashley Stortz, Wellington North;
- Calysta Perkin, Minto;
- Evan Daveikis, Centre Wellington; and
- Chloe Fleming – Township of Guelph/Eramosa.
