Wellington 4-H Batter Up Club meeting

The Batter Up club is a club where we bake treats and pastries. Our first meeting was on March 9.

We started our first meeting with nominations for president, vice president, secretary and press reporter.

Our president opened the meeting with the 4-H pledge. Then we split into groups of three or four and made biscuits.

The first group that finished made clotted cream to go with the biscuits and we all sampled them and they were very delicious.

Then we made ginger snaps and sampled them too and they were extremely good.

Our president closed the meeting with the 4-H motto.
