Weetering, (van de), Matthyda, “Thyda” (nee Heikamp); at Palmerston & District Hospital with her family at her side. Thyda passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 28th, 2012 in her 84th year. She was a longtime resident of Conestoga Estates, RR#1 Moorefield, Ontario. Beloved wife of Jo for 62 years. Loving mother of Gerrit Weetering (Lynda) of Strathroy, Rienie Weetering (Janie) of Woodstock and Anne Murray (Kelly) of Whitehorse. Also survived by 7 beloved grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Special friend of Peter (2011) and Pat Totsch. Cremation has taken place. A private family gathering will be held. Thyda’s family would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the wonderful Doctors, Nurses and staff at Palmerston Hospital who looked after Thyda with such care & compassion.
