WEB ONLY: Free Kidsfest set for noon Saturday
The Guelph Youth Music Centre invites everyone to a free community arts festival on, May 9 from noon to 3pm.
Kidsfest is an opportunity to experience three hours of live performances including the Flute Choir, Tir Na Nog Irish dance, Kids Chorus, Adrian Raso and his Frets class, Suzuki String School of Guelph players.
Demonstrations by various music schools and instructors including Suzuki, Orff, the Guelph Youth Singers and Music Together will give children a chance to explore many styles of music and dance in a casual setting.
Other activities include face painting, hands-on arts and crafts, and creating with clay. Ice cream will be for sale.
All activities will take place at the Guelph Youth Music Centre, 75 Cardigan Street in Guelph.
