WEB ONLY: Comedy troupe set for Feb. 6 performance

River Run Cen­tre presents The Dance Party of Newfoundland, an even­ing of sketch comedy rooted in quirky east coast humour.

This show is on Friday at 8pm.

Formed in 2004, The Dance Party of Newfoundland has tour­ed extensively and enjoyed sold-out performances across North America. Recent acco­lades include receiving the Second City Best of the Fest award at The Toronto Inter­national Sketch Comedy Festi­val and being invited as the first ever international troupe to perform at Sketchfest NYC.

The group has also ap­pear­ed on CBC’s Madly Off in All Directions.

Dance Party troupe has a knack for the absurd, perform­ing sketches that combine east coast charm, sharp wit, and a love of the ridiculous.

The Dance Party of New­foundland is comprised of come­dians Steve Cochrane, Johnny Harris, Susan Kent, and Phil Churchill.

Tickets are on sale at the River Run Centre box office.

Adults range from $24 to $30, with discounts available for students and seniors. Eye­GO is in effect.
