WEB ONLY: Comedy troupe set for Feb. 6 performance
River Run Centre presents The Dance Party of Newfoundland, an evening of sketch comedy rooted in quirky east coast humour.
This show is on Friday at 8pm.
Formed in 2004, The Dance Party of Newfoundland has toured extensively and enjoyed sold-out performances across North America. Recent accolades include receiving the Second City Best of the Fest award at The Toronto International Sketch Comedy Festival and being invited as the first ever international troupe to perform at Sketchfest NYC.
The group has also appeared on CBC’s Madly Off in All Directions.
Dance Party troupe has a knack for the absurd, performing sketches that combine east coast charm, sharp wit, and a love of the ridiculous.
The Dance Party of Newfoundland is comprised of comedians Steve Cochrane, Johnny Harris, Susan Kent, and Phil Churchill.
Tickets are on sale at the River Run Centre box office.
Adults range from $24 to $30, with discounts available for students and seniors. EyeGO is in effect.
