Nancy Sullivan was elected as the new board chair of Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health on Jan. 4.

Sullivan, a provincial appointee from Guelph, has been part of the board of health since 2012 and was vice-chair preceding her election as chair.

Sullivan replaces Doug Auld, who stepped down as board of health chair in November. He served on the board for 10 years (two as chair).

Additional elections

Also at the Jan. 4 meeting Alan Taylor, a provincial appointee from Dufferin County, was elected as vice-chair and Dennis Lever, Wellington County warden and mayor of Puslinch, was nominated as secretary-treasurer.
