A former Puslinch councillor will be commemorated on June 7 with the grand opening of the Wayne Stokley Walking Trail.

The trail is named in memory of Wayne Stokley who served the Puslinch community from 2010 to 2016 and was an ardent advocate of the trail’s creation.

The trail dedication will include a plaque at the trail’s entrance.

There will be a 3pm gathering to commence the walk after which light refreshments will be available at the Puslinch Community Centre.

At the May 17 council session Puslinch Mayor Dennis Lever noted the trail dedication would follow the June 7 council meeting.
