Water levels in Maitland River and Grand River high following spring melt
Caution urged - Water levels in both the Maitland River and Grand River were high following a spring melt last week. The Maitland nearly reached the bottom of the Arthur Street bridge in Harriston on May 12, but no significant flooding was reported in the area. However, river levels remain elevated and local conservation authorities are urging area residents to use caution around all bodies of water.
