Ward 1 seat challenged in Centre Wellington
As of Aug. 11, there is an election race here - even if that race at the council table is for just one seat.
Don Fisher, of Elora, has filed to run against incumbent Ward 1 councillor Kelly Linton.
Incumbent councillors have filed for the remaining spots and the positions remain uncontested - including that of Mayor Joanne Ross-Zuj.
The only other local race is for the Wellington County Ward 5 position, with Rob Black and Allan Hons contesting the seat currently held by incumbent Jean Innes.
