Wallypalooza returns to farm on June 13
Wallypalooza 2009, a family-friendly outdoor music festival in support of the Trillium Waldorf School that is open to the whole region is returning here this year.
The event is on June 13 from 2 to 8pm, rain or shine, at the Fourfold Biodynamic Farm, at 7682 on 4th Line of Nichol.
This year's celebration features an organic barbecue, fresh baked goods, and the music of The Funky Mamas, Josh Gabriel, Richard Langedijk, Mike Kosir (hot off his Friday night gigs at Latino's in Guelph), and Toronto's Celtic wonder-band Fig for a Kiss. Rumour also has it that members of Fig for a Kiss will lead anyone who can't stop their toes from tapping in a very popular form of folk dancing called contra dancing.
Admission is pay-what-you-can.
