WALKER, Yolanda Joyce Hope (nee Nieuwenhuis)
WALKER, Yolanda Joyce Hope (nee Nieuwenhuis). Passed away peacefully on March 21, 2017 in her 64th year. Yolanda was the loving wife of Paul for 43 years. Cherished sister to Wendy (Michael) Kosturik, Tessa Nieuwenhuis (Scott Guyer), Robert (Lisa) Nieuwenhuis, Chris (Lisa) Nieuwenhuis and sister-in-law to Brent Walker (Meri Mars) and Leslie (Brian) Cross. She was special Auntie Nan to Elizabeth, Carolyn, Julianna, Andrea, Rachel, Emily, Caden, Noelle, Somer (Greg), Mackenzie and Lexi. Great Auntie Nan to Hannah, Maddy and Taylor. Yolanda was predeceased by her parents Kirk and Nell Nieuwenhuis, sister Sandra and parents-in-law Stan and Pat Walker. She will be greatly missed by all family, friends and colleagues. The family would like to thank St. Joseph’s Healthcare and Guelph General Hospital for their care and compassion while Yolanda was with them. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2017 from 1:00 to 4:00pm at Elora Raceway, Lighthouse Restaurant 7445 Wellington Road 21, Elora, Ontario N0B 1S0. Donations may be made in Yolanda’s memory to the Kidney Foundation or the Diabetes Association. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, Elora.
