MOUNT FOREST – The IG Wealth Management Walk is one of the largest fundraisers for Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementias and took place in more than 150 communities across Canada this past weekend.
In Wellington County, the walk was held both in Guelph and Mount Forest on May 25.
Surpassed goal
Despite the cold, rainy weather, the Mount Forest event exceeded its goal of $7,500 when a small group of dedicated walkers brought in $12,790 for the cause.
