Vote clarification on trailer park issue

In last week’s edition of the  Wellington Advertiser and the Minto Express, Mayor George Bridge was reported to have voted against the resolution to close the Harriston Trailer park in 10 years.

The mayor said the intent of his vote was to support the resolution - not to vote against it.

He explained his vote was separate from council  as to not influence their vote.
