VON offers Veterans Independence Program
The story of the Victorian Order of Nurses is a vital part of the very history of Canada itself.
For over a 100 years VON has offered support through two World Wars and they continue to innovate to meet the changing health care needs of Canadians. This includes supporting veterans across the country.
The Veterans Independence Program offers financial support to veterans to access VON programs and services at no charge or a reduced cost.
Based in Mount Forest, the Victorian Order of Nurses (VON) office provides services to Guelph and Wellington County. The goal of VON Community Support Services is to maintain or improve the independence of seniors or adults with disabilities living in the community. VON Community Support Services are offered through a variety of professional volunteer programs.
