Volunteer group finishes pledge one year early

Groves Hospital Volunteer Association has completed its $500,000 pledge to the CT Plus Imaging For Our Future Campaign.

The final payment of $65,000 was made a year earlier than promised.

“As the lead donor for the CT Plus Campaign, Groves Hospital Volunteer Association has been an inspiration to our community,” said Sherri Sutherland, Executive Director of Groves Hospital Foundation.

In recognition of the volunteer group’s efforts the facility is named Groves Hospital Volunteer Association CT Suite.

The association is now inviting everyone to join them in supporting the project.

“We are able to complete our CT pledge due to the efforts of our volunteers in the hospital, the Gift Shop and the Opportunity Shops. We invite the community to join GHVA in making a contribution,” said Rob Gilbert, the association’s co-president.

People can make a donation online at www.grovesfoundation.com or by calling 519-843-2010 extension 268.
