Volunteer appreciation events in Wellington County
WELLINGTON CTY. - National Volunteer Appreciation Week takes place this year from April 7 to 13.
Townships and organizations across Wellington County are getting in on the celebration, giving thanks to those citizens that go above and beyond.
Below is a list of events taking place in honour of National Volunteer Appreciation Week.
Centre Wellington
The township is hosting a joint Volunteer Appreciation event on April 9 from 2 to 4pm at the Elora Community Centre to honour volunteers of both the Victoria Park Senior’s Centre and the Fergus Grand Theatre.
Erin
- Erin Volunteer Awards, April 12, 6pm, at Centre 2000 theatre with light refreshments and hors d’oeuvres.
Minto
An appreciation event for town volunteers will be held on April 8 at 6:30pm at the Harriston-Minto Community Centre;
Palmerston District Hospital Volunteer Appreciation Tea April 9 at 2pm.
Puslinch
- Township Volunteer Appreciation Awards will be presented during township council on May 1.
Wellington North
- April 10 at 2pm, Louise Marshall Hospital Volunteer Appreciation Tea.
