Verhagen, William (Bill); Formerly of Rockwood, passed away at Groves Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, December 2, 2009, in his 71st year. Predeceased by son, Scott Verhagen (1989). Loving Dad to Lisa (David) Eveleigh of Thornton, Kevin (Pam Dittrich) Verhagen of Red Lake and Becky (Chris) Clark of Guelph. Opa to Nathan. Dear brother of Erke (Hank) VanDriel of Guelph and the late Ralph Verhagen (1997). Friends were received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Sunday (7-9pm) as well as one hour prior to the funeral service, which was held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, December 7, 2009, at 11am (Reception followed in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre). Spring interment at Rockwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 204-21 Surrey St. W., Guelph N1H 3R3 would be appreciated.
