VAN ALPHEN, Anne - Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital on Thursday, June 9, 2016, in her 83rd year. Beloved wife and best friend of 59 years to John Van Alphen. Loved mother of Ria (John) Sloot and Joanne (Max) Burt. Loving grandma of Jessica, Andrew, Jonathan, Joshua, Daniel, Stephanie, Kevin, Kyle and Rachel. Great grandmother of five. Dear sister of Michael, Griet, Jim (deceased), Bill, Andy, Norm, Mary, Dirk (deceased) and Rhea. A private family service was held at Farnham Cemetery, Arkell.
