GUELPH – Elementary registration day for the 2025-26 school year is on Aug. 27, between 1 and 4pm at all Upper Grand District School Board (UGDSB) elementary schools.
Only new students to the UGDSB are required to register.
Children who attended a UGDSB school last year, do not need to re-register.
To determine which school those interested are eligible to attend, visit the UGDSB’s school locator at ugdsb.ca/o/ugdsb/page/school-locator.
All junior and senior kindergarten students who are new to the UGDSB must preregister online at ugdsb.ca/page/kindergarten-home.
Parents/guardians applying to register their child for junior kindergarten French immersion will need to contact their French immersion school for information about program space and waiting lists as the January registration period has closed.
If a child has been registered in January during the kindergarten registration period, re-registration is not needed.
Grade 1 to 8 registration
Those new to the Upper Grand District School Board, complete the registration form online.
Secondary registration
Those new to the Upper Grand District School Board will have to fill out and submit a form online.
Once the form has been submitted, please contact one’s local secondary school to make an appointment to verify your documentation.
