University jazz society hosts event
On Jan. 31, the University of Guelph Jazz Society presents Remembering the Music of:
- Neal Hefti: Oct. 29, 1922 to Oct. 11, 2008;
- Jimmi Guiffre: April 26, 1921 to April 24, 2008; and
- Freddie Hubbard: April 7, 1938 to Dec. 29, 2008.
The concert will be performed by Beyond Category in the University Centre, room 103. The performance begins at 8pm (doors at 7:30pm), and tickets are $10 for adults or $5 for students. For more info email guelph_jazzsoc@yahoo.ca.
