Unger, Elsbeth Gertrud; Passed away at Groves Memorial Community Hospital on Thursday, September 25, 2008. Elsbeth Unger at the age of 73 years. Beloved mother of Jens & Nancy Geissler of Rockwood. Proud grandmother of CJ and Bailley Geissler. Predeceased by her infant son, Bernd (1957), parents, Hermann and Gertrud Unger and sister, Gerda Unger. Elsbeth was an avid volunteer at Groves Memorial Hospital. Memorial service was held at the Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 290 Belsyde Avenue E., Fergus on Tuesday, September 30 at 2:00pm with Pastor Debra Johnston officiating. Cremation took place at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions to the Groves Memorial Community Hospital – Oncology Dept. or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home.
