GUELPH – Parents and guardians looking for before- or after-school care can inform the Upper Grand District School Board (UGDSB) in a survey between now and 4pm on Jan. 30.
The survey is intended to gather information about how many children need before- and after-school care in September at schools that do not currently offer that programming.
The survey is open to parents of students entering kindergarten in September or registered in kindergarten to Grade 5 at schools where before- and after-school child care is not currently offered.
These programs, located at UGDSB schools, are operated by third party child care operators.
Completing the survey does not guarantee childcare programming will be offered and does not register students or put them on a waitlist.
Data collected is used to help child care operators determine the viability of programs offered and understand families’ needs.
For more information or to complete the survey visit ugdsb.ca/page/before-andor-after-school-program.
