Tyke Fusion team works hard in playoffs
On Feb. 4 the Centre Wellington Tyke Fusion were in Arthur to face the Vipers.
The Fusion won 3-1, led by goals from Zander Pereira, Brinley Wilson and Eddie McDonald. Assists went to McDonald, Denver Feltham and Pereira.
On Feb. 8 the Caledon Hawks faced the Fusion in Fergus. McDonald scored one goal and Keira Healey scored two. Pereira, Ryan McDougall, McDonald, Nathan Long, Feltham, and Fraser Clark all were credited with assists.
The final was 4-3 in favour of Caledon.
The third Fusion game was on Feb. 9 in Elora against the Flamborough Sabres.
McDonald scored assisted by Wyatt Marsland. Zachary Dickinson worked hard in the net and kept the score to 1-0 until 28 seconds left in the third when the Sabres scored. The final score was a 1-1 tie.
