Two way race for Wellington County Ward 6
It now looks like a two-way race for Wellington County Ward 6 in the upcoming municipal election on Oct. 27.
According to recent nomination papers filed with the township of Centre Wellington, incumbent Shawn Watters of Elora, is being challenged by Fergus resident Diane Ballantyne.
Wellington Ward 6 is comprised of all of Centre Wellington south of the Grand River.
