Turk, Bernardus J. “Ben”; passed away unexpectedly, in his sleep in Sarasota, Florida on Friday, October 17, 2008. Ben, in his 66th year, beloved husband of the late “Ria” (2006), cherished father of Christa (Fabio), Frances (Jeff) and Cathy (Chris), dearly missed Opa of Alicia and Amanda (Savelli) and Tristan (Turk-Wolter). The family received friends at the MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill Street East, Acton on Thursday, October 23rd, 2008 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.   Friends met the family at the St. Joseph, Patron of Canada, Catholic Church, 64 Church Street East, Acton on Friday at 11am where the Funeral Mass was celebrated by the Rev. Bob Bulbrook. Cremation follow ed at Evergreen Crematorium, Milton. Remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
