Truck Show pays share of profits to its volunteer groups

On Dec. 14, the Fergus Truck Show paid $22,500 to community volunteers “Who helped make it the huge success that it was.”

Crystal Forth-Hill, the show’s vice president and volunteer coordinator told the volunteers, “There is no way we could have done this without your help and enthusiasm. As many people know, we struggled last year, but because of our generous volunteers, were able to come back even better than ever.”

All returning groups were paid $9 an hour, and with over 300 trucks having attended, “It put us back on the map,” she said.

“The Fergus Truck Show would like to thank everyone who helped out and to wish you all a very happy holiday season.”
