The following are the top 10 tweets from the Advertiser’s Twitter account (@wellyadvertiser) over the final quarter of 2014.

#1 - September 2:

#4 - October 16:

“Highway 6 in Fergus is closed at the intersection of Tower and Albert Streets after water hydrant struck by transport truck” (*three more tweets on this event actually ranked higher than others on this list)

#5 - November 17:

#6 - September 29:

“Lockdown this morning at CWDHS  the result of a pellet gun located in student’s car. No charges expected to be laid.

#7 - November 9:

#8 - October 27:
